Qatar-4b was discovered in 2016 by the Qatar Exoplanet Survey (QES). It
orbits the star Qatar 4, a 13th magnitude star, located approximately 700
light-years away in the constellation of Andromeda.
The planet is a large "hot Jupiter", orbiting its star approximately once
every 1.8 days.
